‘We Are All Neda’ is a political campaign of different kind for Iran. This one is not for votes or for voicing protest. This campaign is rare solidarity campaign for people of Iran who showed immense courage and gave rise to biggest people’s movement demanding change. Young Neda who lost her life while protesting has become worldwide symbol of courage.

We Are All Neda campaign comes from Avaaz.org. Avaaz.org rallies behind all social movements and gathers support for social and political cause. They, along with CEDC, the Center for Educational Design and Communication have designed T-shirts which can be bought online. This fundraising is not for some organization or individuals but it is for a bandwidth for internet access which will be secure for Iranians. This is indeed a rare way to show solidarity.

It is known that Iranian authorities had blocked internet access and sites but yet they could not deter brave Iranian’s from sending Twitter message and reaching their voice to the world. The authorities are still trying to black out sites and news channels. Iranians will really benefit from such internet access.

Neda died a brutal death with bullet in her heart. But Neda’s face and voice will continue to inspire people to step out and voice their opinion and dissent
