Manchester United has had a long drawn feud with Real Madrid over Cristiano Ronoaldo. Real Madrid is eying not only Ronaldo but most soccer stars who have the ability to draw crowds.

The idea perhaps is to get these celebrity footballers into Real Madrid club and thus increase the revenue value of the club. However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has promised that he would not want to lose or risk a friendship with Manchester United in his pursuit of Ronaldo. Manchester United has been particularly critical of the club’s strategies to gain all the cool players.

Real Madrid is not only wooing them with money but also Real Madrid has a cult following all over the world. It would be interesting what Cristiano has to say over all this, and whom he would choose if he were given a choice. Wherever he would play, fans would follow him regardless of their club preference.
