Research In Motion or RIM, the manufacturer of the Blackberry smart phones, today announced the launch of the all new addition to the Bold series, with the Blackberry Bold 9700. The all new Bold 9700, has been given a facelift, making it more looking than its predecessors in the Blackberry Bold series. This new smart phone will available in the United States starting next week, and consumers can get it from T-Mobile and AT&T at attractive data and calling plans.
Blackberry Bold 9700 is known to be the first smart phone designed by RIM that fully supports 3G connectivity and also allows the users to make calls over wifi connections. The Bold 9700 is a beauty in itself, with high-gloss black finish, chrome highlights and a leatherette back, giving a stunning aura to the device. It is powered by a state of the art 624 MHz processor, with a 256 MB RAM and is also equipped with a real time GPS and wifi connectivity.
Blackberry Bold 9700 is built on the highly successfully BlackBerry OS 5.0, sporting a 3.2 megapixel camera. However, the feature that makes Blackberry Bold 9700 stand apart from other phones from RIM is the newly added touch sensitive optical trackpad, replacing the old trackball, that is found in almost every Blackberry.

BBM is a huge selling point as well and it is the most secure device you can own of any cell phone (I wonder why the president owns one, as well as mega corporations like Boeing and even executive officers from companies like Google and Apple use blackberry)
