Those who love rocking chair would be happy to know that Prague based design company Novague has launched a rocking chair which comes with a dynamo to enable reading light.

The more you rock; the power will be generated and hence would power your own light. The chair is called Move Your Energy and it comes with an LED lamp and you would produce electric energy on your own sufficient for a reading lamp just by rocking. This chair makes me think about the necessity of human powered gadgets when energy resources are depleting so fast.

If only we used our own kinetic energy and convert that to mechanical and electric energy, we could save a lot of fuel and stop energy depletion. I would say, this is a brilliant idea, and a terrific concept. There is no information about the price and availability.
