Russian Tsars Bring Their Fashion To London

The Russian royalty has created quite a buzz in the fashion circles of London. Well, Victoria & Albert Museum in the capital city of the UK is playing host to an exhibition dedicated to the lost luxury of the Russian blue blood aptly called the ‘Magnificence of the Tsars’.

Spanning over two centuries, the exhibit focuses on the dress and uniforms of Emperors and the Russian Court that even include the coronation robes of Paul I, Nicholas I and Alexanders I, II and III. The Moscow Kremlin Museums is the curator behind this endeavour showcasing men’s fashion that has almost disappeared from the scene.

And making business out of it is the five-star Egerton hotel which has organised a V&A Tsars package. And you get treated like royalty over a periods of two nights. Enjoy the English breakfast, exhibition tickets to V&A including exclusive access and use of the stunning Member’s Lounge and ice cold martini served in frozen glasses accompanied by caviar blinis, afternoon tea and some pink champagne. The package starts at 349 pounds per room for one night.
