The Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s statue will now be displayed in the world famous Madame Tussauds Museum from this April. The world famous museum which is a major tourist attraction in London will have yet another sportsperson and another familiar face to many Indian cricket fans.
Sachin is the first Indian sportsperson to be featured in this museum. Tendulkar will join the league with other Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachan, former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and P V Narasimha Rao. Sachin Tendulkar is a record breaking cricketer with the highest run in the Test matches. He joins other international cricketers like Shane Warne and Brian Lara.
