Stephane Maupin has come up with a concept called Saint Clair Lamp. The lamp sucks solar energy in order to provide light during the dark. It comes with photovoltaic cells that suck the solar energy and convert them into light; so that the much needed energy can be saved and sued for other purposes. It even won him the VIA Project Assistance Grant and the prototype of the lamp would be seen soon.

It uses the minimum materials and can easily transform dark spaces into bright ones, by just using the solar energy. The photovoltaic cells are stuck to the window through which they suck out the solar energy. It is a beautiful and aesthetic design which would certainly find acceptance within the eco-friendly community, and also by those who seek stylish designs in their houses.

Saving energy has turned out to9 be the world’s single most important goal for the existing resources could sooner or later deplete. Moreover, one must try and consider the number of ways through which we can reduce our carbon footprints. The Saint Clair Lamp is just one of those designs that help us conserve energy.
