One of the biggest manufacturers of LCD flat panel televisions and computer memory chips. Samsung electronics has announced that, it has designed and developed the world’s thinnest LED flat panel screen. Though, Samsung has not announced any launch date or any possible pricing details, still the all new LED flat panel screen, named, Needle Slim is already making heads turn and consumers are becoming anxious to get their hands on this product.

The Needle Slim is measured at a mere 3mm thickness and sports a 40 inch LED (Light emitting doide) screen. Inspite of such tiny specification, Samsung maintains, that the Needle Slim is going to be top of the line in high definition televisions.

In October last year, Samsung had launched the world’s slimmest LCD television and now an year later, the world’s slimmest LED television is all set to hit the market. LEDs consume far less energy and are more reliable than LCDs. However, LCD televisions are easily available and are quite inexpensive as well.
