They say imitation is the best form of flattery but frankly, it strikes a discord with us if the effort is outrageously bold and way too slick (no, not in the good way). C’mon companies have to respect the customer’s sensibilities too. The techie circuit if rife with news that Samsung’s Omnia may not be unique anymore. The mobile phone has been knocked off with such shamelessness that we are shocked.
A Chinese mobile manufacturer has introduced Sumsang, no it is not a typo error on our part but actually the name of a Samsung Omnia clone. The duplicate version is supposed to be a GSM smart phone with a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 resolution display. Plus it comes with all the regular features like the MP3 player, a 13 mega pixel camera, USB connectivity and the works.
If one ignores the crass manner in which inspiration has been drawn, you might just enjoy the few games that Sumsang features and the micro SD card slot. Priced a few bucks less than Samsung Omnia, Sumsang comes with dual SIM slots.
