Coffee Tables can be designed in the most creative of ways too. How about a Coffee Table that gives you an illusion that its top is floating in the air? Such a coffee table has actually been designed. It’s called the Sancal Elipse, although it does not exactly look elliptical or oval.

The unique piece of furniture is stylish in look, classy and utilitarian too, is rectangular in shape. Its upper surface or top looks like it floats in the air, giving it a mystic look. Finished in metal structure in F1 steel tube lacquered in epoxy coat, the table’s upper and bottom pieces are carved out of lacquered high frequency pressed MDF or Medium Density Fibreboard.

Its longer edges of the upper surface and lower surface look like they are arching toward each other, breaking the design monotony and giving it a curvy feel.

Sancal Elipse coffee table is available in two different dimensions. Its rectangular version meatures 1140 mm by 700 mm and its square version measures 1140 mm by 1140 mm. The height of both the dimensions remains equal, at 350 mm. The table is priced at £773, obviously on the higher side, but it is about the right thing for those with a taste for contemporary in their living rooms and lounges.
