Loathe for your parents to catch you with a blow up sex doll? You really needn’t worry so much; after all, it is fashionable to be seen with your blow-up dolls. Not convinced? Then check out these runway pics and perhaps you’ll even head over and buy your own blow up doll.

Fashion designers Sanders Reijgers isn’t afraid to show off his slightly kinky side and takes much pride in it. He didn’t just buy a load of blow up sex dolls but has made them a part of his fashion collection. The Dutch artist found the blow up dolls so “ugly and vulgar” that he wanted to make something beautiful out of it. Merging tracksuits with the blow up dolls, Reijgers created tracks that are partly covered with the material from the dolls. Interestingly, he does not aim to merely rip the dolls apart and dismember them, but uses each part of the doll so explicitly that one look at the clothes is enough to tell you which part of the anatomy is on display.

Reijgers insists that the collection isn’t intended to be vulgar or shock the masses but instead is works of art that humorously point out his views on sex. He states he cannot comprehend why anyone would wish to blow air into a lifeless doll and have sex with an unfeeling object. The hoodies come with the face of the blow up doll smack on the hood so that, when viewed from behind, it looks almost as though the person wearing it is a life size blow up sex doll. Wonder what the artist was trying to convey with this subtle design. Reigjers is seen wearing his hoodies and on the runway in the last picture.
