If you thought the Windows interface for the visually impaired was a cruel joke, you are not the only one. Jonathan Lucas has designed the Siafu, which is an intuitive PC meant for those who are visually impaired. It can be laid like a flat tablet and is based on touch technology. The user can just touch it and interact with the machine. The computer’s surface comes with magneclay also known as the magnetized liquid.

The unique ability of Magneclay is that it can morph into any shape and can create a Braille surface which the visually impaired person can use to comprehend. It is not only the technology that is awesome but even the design it self is visually appealing. Though, when I say visually appealing, it is a cruel joke. However, that is not meant in a malicious way and the Siafu is a great computer.

It has 9 button Braille keyboard, a built-in microphone, voice recognition software, and a 2D-3D image converter. Looks like this is a great concept which may again not enter the market for reasons that baffle everyone who loves concepts and designs that never get manufactured.
