The experts at the British Chambers of Commerce are out with the opinion that the worst phase of the global recession that hit the Britain shore is over. The signs of the recovery are already on its way with the growth in the GDP after a sharp fall before the month of March.
The British Government has predicted that their economy‘s growth by 1.25 percent next year. Optimism is well evident based on the survey conducted on 5600 companies where the results were that of progress. On the downside, the unemployment figures may rise up to 3.2 million by nest year. Manufacturing units are still showing a decline in their output. Industrial production of energy sector has been stagnant as well. Manufacturing sector is still doing better than the service sector, although the overall performance of the manufacturing sector still has been poor.
However, the confidence should be nurtured among the business class and the citizens and more focus should be given to limit the impact of recession. With the huge risk of economy slipping down further, business confidence needs to be boosted.
