You may call this bizarre. But, a new vodka all set for getting unveiled, has an eerie feel to it. If you have a love for the thrills, horror movies and ghosts, you will love it. It’s called Ghost Vodka. The Michigan made vodka is all set for launch in Detroit. It gets such a name because Jim Burgess who is one of its founders has a special interest in, ghosts. Jim Burgess and his fianceé, Kelly Callahan, are partners in the new venture.

You can rest easy about the ingredients that go into making this vodka as they are nothing paranormal. It is sourced from wheat, barley, and corn used to make the vodka to the bottle design. Wheat and barley are sourced from Michigan farmers, which gives this vodka the special Michigan angle. Besides, the bottle design is also Michigan made. The idea behind the all Michigan effort has been apparently to help the state economy. Ghost Vodka has partnered with Valentine Vodka in Webberville to bottle and distill the vodka.
The website of Ghost Vodka has a spot where users can submit narrations of their own paranormal experiences. Ghost Vodka will be up for sale in March at Detroit, while its official release is planned for the first week of May. Brad and Barry Klinge of the paranormal investigation team Everyday Paranormal who participate in Discovery Channel’a show Ghost Lab, will be present at the release. One may note that The Whitney hotel, set in an 1894 mansion, is also known for the `haunted tag’. It has the `Ghost Bar’ that stocks Detroit’s liquors and is open till 2 am.
