Skype Users To Get Facebook Integration Soon. Facebook Contacts Will Now Be Available Via VoIP

One of the biggest and foremost Voice Over Telephony service, Skype, is all set to receive a crucial partnership integration with the biggest social networking service in the world, Facebook. As per reports, Skype will soon get a Facebook Connect feature, with which Skype users will be able to send SMS and conduct voice as well as video chats with their Facebook buddies. This all new partnership between Skype and Facebook is nearly inked and with the integration of the latter into Skype, the domain of VoIP calls will witness a significant surge.

This isn’t the first time that, these two companies have joined hands together, as previously Skype had been provided with a Facebook Contact importer, with which the users were able to add their Facebook contacts to Skype. The main goal of Facebook with the to-be announced partnership is to create a more systematic and integrated communications platform across various a range of media, all the while providing users with essential and interesting tools make communications that much easier as well as streamlined.  Skype already has 560 million registers users of the service and with Facebook’s more than 500 million users, both the services will now be able to provide their users with a more comprehensive communication platform.
