According to Buckminster Fuller’s practice of Dymaxion Sleeping, a 30 minute nap over a period of 24 hours is essential. The human body needs this 30 minute nap during the working hours. Hitherto, I am aware of many corporate offices today include a sleeping room in their office space so that the employees could rejuvenate themselves by taking a nap for at least 30 minutes or a little longer.

However, I never imagined in my wildest dreams that there could ever be a dress that can provide the much needed 30 minutes nap. We have just discovered the Sleep Suit, which is designed by Forrest Jessee. This suit literally acts as a transportable and adjustable cocoon, which in turn allows for constant air flow in a variety of different positions and environments.

Apparently, the project aims at challenging the idea of personal relationship to the human body and its surrounding environment. The structure of the material is a structural pleat, which is used as a means to create feelings of connected and disconnectedness. It also aims to provide various levels of support for different parts of the body. However, the cut design of this clothing looks a tad weird and I wonder who would really don it and walk around.
