The much anticipated SmartQ 7 Internet Tablet is finally showing up and is about to be on display officially. Until a few days ago it was not sure what name this device would be given. Moreover, there were only very few pictures available. The WVGA resolution of the Internet Tablet is the same as Toshiba’s 4.1 inch TG01, which is stretched across a 7-inch touchscreen display.

The coolest feature of the SmartQ 7 is that it runs an unspecified Linux distro with specs, which include WiFi, a USb-host mode, stereo speakers. Its 4500mAH Li-Poly battery can run for two days of music with just a single charge. Just in case you want a little more fun, all you have to do is to hit the button placed on top.

The SmartQ 7 will also house a 667MHz Samsung ARM S3C6410 CPU, 128MB of RAM and 1GB of flash memory. If rumors are to be believed then, the SmartQ 7 will be available in China in the next couple of months with limited number. The price tag is expected to be CNY1,289 (about $190).
