Solar Heated Wetsuit From Billabong

This winter during the 2009 Aus Winter Season, surfers have indeed an apparent reason to smile. Billagong have released SG5 solar mesh wetsuit that will keep your body warm while you are still surfing the sea.

This wetsuit uses the principle of a thermal solar panel, which uses the sun’s energy to heat water. This innovative technology is said to be 30% warmer than any nylon covered neoprene. It has tempting features such as, 100% externally welded seams, flexible side panels, silicon grippers, super flex kneepads, etc. Your comfort will be taken care of as the suit is apparently said to be warmer, lighter and more flexible than ever before. This will surely not disappoint you in case you are still skeptical about its features.

This is available in 2/2, 3/2 or 4/2 in either chest zip, back zip or zip free. You can buy them from March 2009 onwards from stores. However, the Mesurf team will be reviewing this over the coming months and, it’s better to stay tuned to their latest news. The idea is indeed very cool but I am not sure if the surfers would be actually very excited about this product.
