
One of the leading mobile phone manufactures, Sony Ericsson, has unveiled its latest creation, the Xperia X10 smart phone, codenamed Rachel. The X10 is based entirely on the Google Android operating system for mobiles and is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, making it effectively the world’s fastest and snazziest smart phone. Xperia X10 is expected to be launched in the year 2010 and will be sporting applications from both, Android Market and Sony Ericsson Play Now Arena.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is a quad band enabled handset that works on UMTS HSPA 900/1700/2100, GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS HSPA 800/1900/2100 and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 networks. The all new X10 will be entirely touch enabled and will sport a 8 mega pixel camera with intelligent face recognition features.
This latest gadget will also be embedded with various Google mobile applications, such as Google Maps with Street View, Google Media Uploader and Google Talk etc. Xperia X10 features a 262,144 color TFT touchscreen with a maximum resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (WVGA).
Along with the Xperia X10, Sony Ericsson has also introduced an all new Hi-Fi Wireless Headset with FM Radio MW600, that boasts of stereo sound and will be available as an optional accessory with the phone and as a stand alone product as well.
