Sony PSP fake

This could have been easily an original marketing campaign for Sony PlayStation Portable gaming console. But it turns out be a mere creative concept by Skizo. Some may call it fake but nevertheless it is a good concept. Yes, very high on creativity. But it is unlikely to be executed in reality.

Advertising the concept of ‘reality’, that too for a gaming console, is very challenging. Here the bill board screen is made totally transparent to make the game look totally real. Flying bikes, Spiderman can look this real only on virtual billboards. On real billboards there will be perspective, shadow and other issues.

Companies can use such creative concepts for web advertising though. There are no realistic limitations in virtual world. Billboards will have to be downsized to computer screen but then downsizing is the present trend! It’ll cut down costs too. Moreover only computer savvy urban youngsters will go for such gaming consoles. These trendy youth are more hooked to virtual world than the real world around them.

It may be a fake billboard campaign but this concept is creating real publicity and buzz for the young designer!
