
One of the most famous and widely sought after gaming console, the Sony Playstation 3 will have to wait a little longer for its very own motion gaming controller,a s stated by Sony Computer Entertainment. The Sony PlayStation has been one of the coolest gadgets and for the Black Friday sales, the PS3 showed some real good results for Sony, but the company has on numerous occasion delayed the launch of various accessories and game titles for the PS3.
The all new Motion Controller for PS3, which will be an entirely wireless controller, will be launched in Japan in fall 2010, with simultaneous launches across Asia, North America and Europe. The launch of the Motion Controller as per Sony would be marked with a line up of new gaming titles, that would further enhance the gaming experience on the PS3. The Motion Controller for the PS3 will work in conjunction with the PlayStation Eye camera, wherein the device will analyze the movements of the users and than would depict the exact motion in the game itself.
According to Kazuo Hirai (President, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.),
“We have decided to release the Motion Controller in fall 2010 when we will be able to offer an exciting and varied line-up of software titles that will deliver the new entertainment experience to PS3 users. We will continue to work to have a comprehensive portfolio of attractive and innovative games for the Motion Controller, not only from SCE Worldwide Studios but also from the third party developers and publishers, whom we have been working closely with. We look forward to soon unveiling the exciting software line-up that further expands and defines the PS3 platform as the ultimate entertainment system for the home.”
