Spotify, the streaming music service that has been soothing your ears has finally launched on the iPhone and Android devices but only for its premium subscribers only. The good news is that you can download it from Apple’s App Store and the Android Market. This service has already rocked several European markets, but it is yet to hit the US markets.
The interesting thing is, the mobile apps allow you to play the entire Spotify catalogue and the ‘offline mode’ caches playlists. Spotify comes with an in-built detailed mobile section included especially when you go offline, say when you are on a plane. With its P2P technology, Spotify distinguishes itself when it comes to providing good service. Interestingly, this is the first time that Spotify is going mobile with its service.
Quite undoubtedly, this will cause a lot of anxiety amongst people. I am already exited! However, it will be nice if Spotify expands its service to other customers also other than its own premium subscribers. Besides, it should also hit the US customers soon. It’s not fair that Spotify hasn’t focused yet on the US customers.
