There are so many among us with such prodigious talent and a flair for the unusual and uncanny that the mediocre world which is largely bothered about the normal just fails to recognize them. Andrew Chase seems to be one such maverick with a sense for Steampunk creations that is unlike anything else. His latest work of metallic magic is the Steampunk Cheetah, which is sure to set your heart racing the second you lay your eyes on it. Sporting dimensions of 24″ high and 50″ nose to tail and weighing about 40 pounds, it was crafted from electrical conduit, transmission parts, and 20-gauge steel.

While 60 hours of work on this according to Andrew is a ‘lengthy’ period of time for such a creation, most of us probably would find to conjure a metallic beast like this in a lifetime. “Steampunk Fed-Ex” is what Andrew calls the Cheetahs in this special world and while we have marveled all these centuries at the speed and balance of the actual beast in the wild plains of Africa, this one seems to be equally captivating!
