Studio Verissimo is a famous design house from Portugal. They have just launched their Spoon Collection at Yron, Lisbon. The exhibition features lamps, tables and other such products all designed in plastic utensils. So you have a table or a lamp entirely made of red spoons.

The idea of using kitchen goods to create furniture may be to suggest the importance of both plastic and that of modern kitchen goods in our lives and how they support us. Though plastic is certainly bad, it has helped humans to a large extent. One cannot but accept the fact that it is difficult to do away with plastic.

Studio Verissimo certainly knows the importance of kitchen ecology and what it takes to live without basic kitchen cutlery. He designs look stylish, avant garde and quite chic. In my opinion, it would be nice to have a table or two like that.
