Italian car company Tazzari Electric has just unveiled a really cute and subcompact car in the US. The car is christened ZERO and would be available in the US by really 2010. The ZERO runs on lithium batteries and is very indeed as it is made from 100% recyclable aluminium.

Though it is being touted as a sports car, the top speed that it can achieve is about 55 mph. It accelerates from 0 to 30 mph in just about 5 seconds. The ZERO has a wide wheelbase and a centrally located engine which enhances the performance.

Once you charge it, you can drive for about 140 kms and you can charge it 80% in just about 50 minutes. It is however very expensive and costs $25,000. You can stat bidding on ebay soon. The car has a childish look and yet is quite ok for an adult to drive. Of course cars are meant for adults anyway.
