Guerrilla campaign cannot get better than this. Surfrider Foundation actually packed all trash littered around beaches neatly in packages and left them at markets for shoppers to see the other ‘Catch of the day’. ‘Catch of the day’ campaign is the best way to create awareness about amount of litter and trash that gets left behind on beaches and public places. This message is more clear than hundred words slogan or ad posters.

Surfrider Foundation is a dedicated organization working towards protection and enjoyment of beaches, sea-shores, oceans all around the world. The non-recyclable waste often left behind beach revelers is an ugly reality all around the globe. Sign-boards hardly deter people from tossing the litter everywhere except the bins. Such packaged trash at markets will surely shock and make people think about environment cleanliness. Though campaign was carried out locally but can be easily replicated at beach-side, sea-side towns and cities all over the world.

Social advertising is becoming location specific and hence very minimal and interesting. Point is to create maximum impact!
