Alan Johnson, the Health Secretary has assured the British people to keep calm as the nation is well prepared to face the consequences of a Swine Flu pandemic. The flu pandemic has already been noticed across many continents and people are suggesting it could result in great loss of life.

In fact, one of the columnists when approached to confirm that the pandemic could be over hyped by the media, he regretted and said it could be possible that the risks are still risks. This could mean that the Swine Flu is a real and grave danger to the world. It is now noticed that the disease is not spread only though consumption of pig or pork, but can also spread through human-to-human transmission.

Britain’s first case of Swine Flu was confirmed yesterday and people have begun to panic. If the flu spreads and affects general population, there could be a number of deaths. About 12 countries across the world have confirmed Swine Flu cases now.
