With the active support from the Yverdon Engineering School, Mark Muller, a Swiss national who is an engineer by profession is now planning to take trip all around the world in an an eco friendly vehicle that runs only on wind and the solar power. This one of a kind revolutionary solar car is also known as the ICARE Project and the parameters of the projects calls for Mr. Muller to travel more than 40,000 kilometers, across 30 countries in a solar powered car, without having to release a single gram of carbon emission.
The ICARE project solar powered car is outfitted with solar panels, that will provide energy to the motors of the vehicle during the day and at night, the vehicle will take advantage of the power of wind, by exercising the in built wind power generator.
According to ICARE,
“This vehicle will allow the reporters to be “propelled” only by solar and wind power. This means of transport is not only environmentally friendly, but also fully independent: the energy available in the environment is sufficient to make this unique world journey possible.”
