3D technology has been one of the dominant topics at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES) with numerous 3D device on display that guarantee refining of this unique technology that brings the images to virtual reality. One of such products is the latest 3D Plasma television from the electronics giant, Panasonic. The all new Panasonic TC-PVT25 series at the CES is a feature packed entertainment powerhouse, that has also bagged this year’s “2010 Best of CES Award”.

The all new VT-25 series from Panasonic will also include state of the art 3D glasses that are designed to enhance user experience and with a unique LC shutter system, the 3D plasma TV will be able to display 1080p high definition video quality for each eye with the help of the stereoscopic 3D effects. However, the only way viewers can get this TV to play 3D video is to play a 3D disc on a 3D-compatible Blu-ray player, or if they are subscribed to 3D satellite channels.

Panasonic’s TC-PVT25 series is categorized by an all new feature called, Infinite Black Pro, that is believed to be the component which has been included in the 3D televisions to enhance the black performance of the Plasma TVs. Even with the infinite black pro and non-pro distinction in place for the models of the VT-25 series, Panasonic is still advertising the 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio for both models.

It is quite a well known fact that 3D glasses look almost ugly and the wearer starts to look fulgier than ever. This year since the 3D is a huge thing at the CES 2010, you can only expect to see some 3D glasses as well.

However, the 3D Glasses by Gunnar are not as bad as you might imagine them to be and they look pretty wearable. INJ fact, you might be forgiven for liking 3D too much, as the glasses do not actually look very geekish. However, these 3D glasses are expensive and you cannot afford to throw them away, unless you don’t mind throwing away $190.

The glasses are available for purchase and I guess you could begin the New Year by watching some cool 3D movies with the help of these glasses. You could also wait for the next couple of days to check out what the CES is going to turn out like, in the department of 3D. Meanwhile, try and get these 3D glasses by Gunnar which are actually not too bad.

CES 2009 saw a number of cellphones and TVs being announced today. However, gaming fans were slightly disappointed because of the lack of products dedicated to their needs. The answer came from NVIDIA, which unveiled 3D glasses.

The game that was on display was Left 4 Dead. NVIDIA’s gear combines innovative LCD monitor and graphics card and a pair of active glasses that cost $199. Most gamers may not be able to afford this package but it is nonetheless exciting and worth considering if you have some money stashed up.

It would be interesting to see which other products would be unveiled along with the package as the demand for gaming accessories is high. For now, we can choose to avoid the annoying shimmering effect on the glasses and concentrate on the awesome 3D effect delivered by the glasses.

Vuzix as we all know have launched great products in the past and this time around they plan to launch special sunglasses that also double up as gaming glasses. Their new Wrap 920AV video glasses come with virtual reality capabilities and augmented reality as well. This also means that we can wear stylish sunglasses and get back to 3D gaming the next moment.

However, there is no information yet about the specs and what technology the company has used. It is also not known when the glasses would be launched and how much they may cost. Lately we have seen a number of products that enhance the experience of playing games but these glasses will surely take the experience of playing games to the next level.

After all, visual experience is far richer than other sensory motor experiences and playing games is all about sensory experiences. Hope the Wrao 920AV comes with other cool features such as anti glare and UV protection which are normal features associated with sunglasses. This news will definitely excite all gaming fans to the extent of screaming.

Update: This product will be showcased at the CES 2009 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

The next time you invite those snobbish friends of yours to the gaming party you have been dying to host, just get the limited edition monitors from iZ3D. The cool monitors come with detailed artwork and custom paint job, which would make any Nintendo DS or Xbox 360 owner cringe in shame and envy. There are going to be 5 cool and gorgeous designs and each would be unique and can’t be replicated.

The monitors come with 3D screens, which means the party would consist of beer sloshed 3D glasses-wearing guests. If you can handle that, and the $740 price for owning them, this could perhaps be the best idea. Even if you are a solitary gamer looking at impressing yourself and don’t enjoy parties, you could buy the Limited Edition iZ3D monitors and please yourself to your heart’s content.

My only question is, would the 3D quality be good enough and worth the money that one pays? Perhaps we shall have to wait and watch for more reviews and opinions across the blogosphere. If you can’t wait, you can always call up the company and buy yourself one.
