Finally, the record set by Bob Schumacher in the Iron Duck in March 1999 has been broken by Richard Jenkins, a British engineer from Hampshire on 26th March, 2009. Driving his Greenbird car on the dry plains of Ivanpah Lake in Nevada, Mr. Jenkins clocked 126.1mph.
