If you wanted to get rid of your old iPod speakers, then perhaps you van replace them with Onkyo’s two new speakers. Onkyo has released their two new and cool looking iPod speaker systems; ‘The X-T2CR’ and ‘the X-T2’, which sports a CD player and MDs respectively. This is why we say when it comes to technology, ‘innovation’ never fails and, these speakers will prove it even more right.

Unlike the ordinary speakers, they come with great features. They have built-in iPod docks, which are compatible with any generation iPod. Besides, they also have AM and FM tuners, A-OMF Cone and 8cm driver units for the speakers. They look ultra snazzy and they are definitely more stylish than any average iPod speaker deck. Indeed it’s good to see a different kind of stylish iPod docks such as these. They will surely add more value to your iPod.

So, get ready with your favorite music while Onkyo’s speakers will make your hobby of listening to music even more enjoyable. Just make sure that you stay away from the envious eyes of your friends and neighbors.

If you are a fan of old school science fiction, you would know that most of the things that were considered futuristic are way behind what the world is today. They even had those funny gadgets with equally funny designs and functions. This is what I think about when I look at the Droplet CD Player. However the Droplet is designed to stand out from the rest of the gadgets in your house and it sure does.

The Droplet CDP3.1 can process signals, which are as much as 768kHz and can release all the information that is in your CD disk library. However, you would also need to squeeze out all the money you may have for a month and pay $3,090 in order to get this gadget. Apparently, this would work well with those who love showing off more than listening to music.

In any case, I would say this gadget looks good, kind of old-school sci-fi and also is able to squeeze out all the information from your CD. This should make the Droplet CDP3.1 an attractive buy that could make your friends and guests green and envious. It also would impress the geeks as it has both analog and digital designs.

Imagine throwing away your state of the art CD player and half of your furniture to make room for something so splendid in design that you can’t even place it in time. Feast your eyes upon this music player, and you will be tempted to renovate your entire house to make the decor worthy enough to play host to this player that bridges the best of antiquities with the practicalities of the present day.

J. David Weiss, director of Industrial Design for Fabrik Agency, set out to create a portable CD player that would be indestructible and whose design would pay tribute to the great music it played. The CDesign (See+Design) was made in collaboration with some electrical engineers from NC State University in Raleigh where Weiss is located and functions like a classic LP table. CDesign has a spinner motor on which the CD sits and onto which it is secured via the tone arm. The tone arm is fitted with a worm gear which moves the reader along the arm. The reader arm sits at the perfect angle of 45 degrees which eliminates the problems an earlier design with 90 degrees had. CDesign can be powered either by rechargeable batteries or electrically via a power cord.

Intended to be made of solid machined metal, Weiss hopes for the player to be realised by a company like Bose, Bowers & Wilkins, or Bang & Olufsen, that could make a high-quality production of it between the ideal range of $150-$250.
