With iPhone and iPod touch attaining such a mammoth poularity status that now products are being created just so to cater to the users of these two gadgets. CTA Digital has developed the Basic Steering Wheel that allows you to place an iPhone or iPod Touch right in the middle of the wheel when racing in a game. Let’s us also point that no special technology is used for this purpose thanks to some logical thinking, and the job gets done for it’s always more natural to turn the wheel around than to move an iPhone.

As of now, we are not really aware where exactly can you get this cool steering wheel from. Also, the price information hasn’t been disclosed by the makers as yet. But since not too many man hours were spent on developing the product, we are guessing that it will not burn a hole in your pocket.

All that said, we do get a sneaky feeling that the Basic Steering Wheel might just work for the totally hardcore racing fans. For others, it might just be a waste of money.

Gaming keyboards are amongst the most sought after in the world of gaming and computers. Often enough though, the claims that are made about the keyboard don’t truly add up in real life.

The OCZ Sabre seems to be in a level of its own because of the fact that this keyboard is actually as good as it is being touted to be. Glamorous and extremely practical, the OCZ Sabre has nine OLED hotkeys that can be programmed by the user to connect instantly to their favourite games, browser, mail, and others. You can even change the icon representing the keys so that not just position of the keys but a digi-image can help you remember their functions (just in case your memory isn’t that great).

Apparently, the OCZ Sabre would be appreciated by CAD professionals as well, though I have no clue why at the moment. Even so, the sleek style and glimmering LEDs of the keyboard make it something anyone would want to own.

CES 2009 intends to bring us the best of everything and the latest on the street is their happening display aimed especially at ardent gaming fans.

Displayed by Intel, the iClubby is a workstation from Gravitonus that would make working look almost like a simulated game. This multifunctional computerised system is designed to provide your body with the optimal conditions necessary for long working or, let’s face the truth, gaming hours. iClubby works by continually changing the seating position of the user so that maximum comfort is maintained at all times. One of the best features of the iClubby is the Matrox Triplehead tri-screen which encompasses the maximum visual field of the user giving the sense that one is surrounded solely by his current work, or game.

Other features of the Gravitonus iClubby include LED l8ight array which locally lights up the working area, and a special keyboard which can be fixed in space according to the user’s desire. 5.1 surround sound system with subwoofers inserted into the back of the seat makes the sound physically palpable.

Gamers of the world would go down on their knees and beg for God to make this a reality. The Prime Gaming Laptop is designed for the ultimate in gaming experience and offers gamers the pleasure of three collapsible screens for wider viewing.

Designed by Kyle Cherry, the concept laptop has a 10” screen which closes to 13” and extends to 26” when all three screens are open. The main screen is an OLED screen with 16:10 aspect and on either side are featured Aux OLED screens with 8:10 aspect. This offers the player 32:10 aspect when all three screens are open. The Prime Gaming Laptop is designed in an aluminium body for durability and cooling.

The Prime Gaming Laptop would have infinite market value if Kyle managed to get it there. Until then, gamers would have to do with their single screen laptops.

The whole ‘X-Games’ Phenomenon is really becoming a big thing with winter sports such as snowboarding really catching on in youngsters across the planet. Some of us though are less fortunate as we cannot experience the same thrill on natural slopes and are relegated to either artificial domes filled with snow or those cool Xbox and Wii games that offer much more fun than the artificial slopes. If you are using PSP, Xbox or even Wii, then the Target Version of the game is made for you. Though, if you still have not purchased a console, we strongly suggest Wii as it is still the best of the lot.

With the Nintendo Wii really knocking the holy hell out of every other gaming console, it seems that the likes of PS3 and Xbox 360 are more than willing to just play second fiddle. Just plug in the eBoard to your virtual reality console and get started with the experience of riding the virtual waves. The eBoard’s movement is based on gestural control and focused on balance and coordination training. eBOARD is a human adaptive system since it changes its status tracking your hands movement and balance status. The system is really a wonderful way to practice for a big competition without getting injured and also for the fitness freaks before hitting the big waves on their Hawaiian holiday!
