Sending emails constantly for certain groups of people, you take the risk of making mistakes in typing an address and include a wrong person. To avoid those possible situations in the future, Google threw for Gmail users a new resource under the category Labs, after awhile without presenting anything new in there.

Entitle Got the wrong Bob?, it is capable to learn the addressees’ sequence that you choose for the people’s groups with whom you keep in touch. So, it recognizes when you miss the name of somebody in a group of contacts in the moment of composing an email, suggesting the name and address correction before the message to be sent.

Obviously, that will just work with three people’s groups or more. To complement the release, the giant search engine it also changed the name of a Labs already existent in Gmail, Suggest more recipients, that allows you to complemental a group of addressees for who an email will be sent, when you forget of mentioning an address that was present in previous messages. Now, the name is Don t forget Bob.

To try that new Labs of Gmail, just go to Configurations of the service and to select Labs to activate it. It will be necessary to reload the page after the activation

Google’s Gmail has always been widely appreciated for its many features, its user friendliness and for being extremely liberal with attachments in its mails. To its user’s delight, Gmail Labs have added yet another feature that allows you to attach images in the body of the messages.

This feature allows you to avoid attachments along with the mail. All you have to do to share an image is to insert images directly from your computer or insert image through URL’s. This simple tool can be used once the function is activated in the Gmail settings.

However, it is important to remember that for security reasons, Gmail does not display images that are URL based. The Gmail users will still have to click on “Display images below” to see the images.

Google Labs have other interesting features as well. The most popular features being the YouTube Previews and Gmail Offline. Gmail Offline allows you to use some of its features while you are offline. Rather a cool deal to make the users hooked on to Gmail even when they aren’t connected to the internet. Way to go Google Labs!

Email users since its conception have had moments of despair because of regret after sending a mail. Often, caught in anger and madness, or perhaps heavily drunk all of us have at one time sent a mail that we desperately wished we could under a while later. Some unlucky few have even lost jobs and chances at love because of the wrong mail being sent.

Google mail users have a lot of great things to say about it and this latest news will have them heaving a sigh of relief. Just some time ago Google announced a new feature, Mail Goggles, which would make users solve a riddle or mathematical equation before sending the mail, giving users time to calm down from anger or stopping them from mailing while intoxicated. Quite similar but even better, the new feature is ‘Undo Send’. Hit the Undo Send button within five seconds of hitting send and you will be saved the trouble that you may get into. According to Michael Legget, Google User Experience Designer, just five seconds is usually enough to notice a mistake in the mail and being prone to sending mails with mistakes, he eventually thought of the Undo Send feature.

Google Undo Send is available from Gmail Labs and would appear on the sent mail confirmation message; clicking Undo Send would take you right back to the compose page so you can edit the mail or delete it.
