Given the increasing number of road accidents all over the world, each nation, city has social awareness campaigns regarding road safety. Here are two ads from Poland’s Traffic Department of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police. The pictures do make the point about necessity of wearing helmets and avoiding cracked skulls. The message is simple and straight. It says “Thinking Saves Lives. Wear A Helmet.”

The two ads created by McCann Erickson Polska, Warsaw, Poland show a young girl and a boy falling off bikes and hitting their heads. A momentary lapse of caution by reckless youths does prove fatal. The message implies that thinking about safety will save heads and life. But young trendy people hardly spare a thought before hitting the street.

More than creating social awareness there must be strict road rules, regulations and fine for reckless speeding and not wearing helmets. Only then one can save precious young lives which often perish due to little negligence.

Nevertheless these advertisements from Polish Traffic Department do make their point clear. It is a subtle reminder that after all its your head and you must think about protecting it!!

I have always been a great fan of Kill Bill and most importantly of Uma Thurman. I must say she looked pretty kick-ass in her yellow suit and helmet in the first part, though I must say I hate yellow for all practical reasons. Now I found something cool enough but in yellow or leaning towards ochre. These limited edition helmets are inspired by Gundam and are meant for motorcycle riders.

These would actually make you look cool and not heavy and dumb like you would, if you wore other helmets. These helmets have been painted in gold and they almost look royal and elegant. Lalabit Market has teamed up with Sotsu to launch these 100 limited edition helmets and each would cost about $2,511.

So grab this helmet and speed across the highway and make sure you are dressed in something that suits the ‘golden’ nature of these awe inspiring, mind-blowing helmets. I definitely would pick one, its just that I am not too fond of yellow or gold. Or perhaps I must give the helmet a try, which wouldn’t be possible because these would sell like hot cakes.
