Water is the most essential source of living. Millions of life has been affected in the past and it still continues to do so in many parts of the world due to scarcity of water. Nevertheless, we do at times become careless and waste a large amount of water in our everyday use. Sometimes, a large quantity of water goes to waste due to leakage problem in the bathroom or the kitchen tap. In order to control this problem, an electronic device called “H2Orb” has been designed.

It functions pretty simple. The device is attached to the water valve behind the toilet. A single float sensor hangs inside the toilet tank. Whenever there is a leak, the device automatically shuts off the water and alerts the user about the leak by sending an immediate alarm via the LCD screen attached on the device.

The H2Orb is operated on a single 3V lithium coin battery. It’s a good idea to own this device and save this precious resource from being scarce in the future. This is a very minimal contribution towards the environment that one can easily do from their home itself.

Unscrewing the four bolts of this box will open up a stylish and elegant instant cooking, storage and eating space.

‘Opening’ seems like a very potential and functional kitchen place appealing to the mobile lifestyles of the present world. What’s more? Maybe in the future, we’ll have each and every room of a house packed up in a box! That sounds quite promising…

You can easily customize and light your kitchen effectively and efficiently with the help of the graphic details that continue across the stovetop wherein functionality and decoration find a seamless synergy.

This collection is the first to offer a solution, which allows the users to change the color of their oven or refrigerator exterior. The more interesting feature is the vertical LED light stripe that allows several color versions, which further provides the option to adjust the appearance of the appliance to the user’s current mood or even the lifestyle.

In addition to this snazzy kitchen collection, Gorenje has also introduced a hi-tech collection called “Touch of the Future“. This is also an interesting collection that will make your cooking sessions easier and more fun as you can control your oven from a remote location. In addition to this, you can also browse through recipes on one side while you can also monitor oven temperature or choose the music to match the ambiance on the other side. It’s the recession time and everybody is cutting down on their expenses, some literally scrimping their budgets and some still economizing comfortably. But I never thought somebody would think of cutting down on the space of the kitchen knives’ block set.

Blame it on the recession or not, Aaron Roots, a creative designer has come up with an innovative singular knifes concept that cuts down the size of your knives’ set box. Aaron’s knife set box allows you to keep each knife in its own block, magnets on the other side, making it possible for you to place at least three knives together in its own unique block set.

The most fascinating thing is that the magnets will allow you to stick the block to anything metal like the fridge, a metal shelving unit, etc. There is no information available still regarding its price tag. This will be useful if you keep misplacing your knives or the knives’ set. However, it’s no big deal and I do not see anything special about this product. This is not going to sharpen my knives in any way.

This is definitely not the review of a cookery show on TV folks! While moving into a new house, one of the most difficult tasks to do is shifting your kitchen. You need both patience and forethought to do it. Well, as I see, Joongho Choi has an easier option- the Moving Kitchen!

This small and compact easy to cook kitchen on wheels has several utilities buried inside it. The top of the table has a dish beneath which an induction used to cook is hidden. Then, there are the folded tables on its either side to keep your coking utensils and ingredients. It also features a kitchen rack with enough place for your most commonly used kitchenware.

Moving kitchen seems like the best option for loners living in tiny cozy apartments. It might also be of use to those who like to cook outdoors or while watching TV. So, what are you waiting for? Go, get your kitchen moving.

We already talked about this earlier and it just seems that this is another case of a designer being technically brilliant in his field but really poor at giving his wonderful gadget a fancy name. So we are stuck with the “Shape Changer Plate Washer and Drier” as the name of a machine that should be simple called Magic Portal and when it comes to the affairs of the kitchen, this is indeed the magic portal. Put your kitchen woes at one end and your solutions appear at the other, well, not exactly, but it would seem that way with this dishwasher. Designed to not just clean your dishes, make them dry, use a robotic hand and a conveyor belt to stack them up and wash them one after another, this little wonder box also can change their shape as desired!

Okay, so even I once owned a dishwasher that could change shape of my dishes, but that was not really in a good way. Designed by Teo Kai Qiang for Electrolux this one can change your plates from composite plastics to bowls and the bowls back to plates (told you it was magic). Using an electrostatic flocking unit, metal contact points and static frequency this just can convert the bowls into plates and plates into bowls as you need them and without any damage whatsoever.

If there is one thing that I hate through the day that is doing the dishes and this one could take away that pain at an instant, making the Shape Changer Plate Washer and Drier something that we could really use instantly. But we might have to wait for a year two to see this actually hit the stores. Till then… back to the dishes!
