Two things struck me when I read about the Park Gate in Dubai. Firstly it looked absolutely gorgeous, and secondly, it uses solar power! Yes, designer Adrain Smith and Gordon Gill believed that a building need not be hot just because it is situated in a desert. And how they managed to keep this building cool in the sweltering heat?
