I’m sure most of us wish we could know what the temperature outside is like or whether it would be pouring down or would the sun show his temper. It would be quite exciting to have our very own weather station, which not only tells us about the climate outside, but also gives us the readings of the room temperature and humidity as well. Oregon Scientific appears to have sensed this, if not why would it make +ECO Clima Control.

This handy and compatible weather station is the company’s first model to feature a solar panel. The device’s 600mAH rechargeable battery can absorb enough sunlight in just eight hours to keep running for 3 months. Its self-explanatory icons like sunny, partly cloudy, rainy, snowy etc indicate the weather conditions outside. Not just this, the device even displays temperature and humidity of three different remote locations at the same time.

This device priced $119.99 from the Oregon Scientific looks compact and practical with an eco-touch and is suitable for daily use.

CES 2009 has been long expected and all you techno freaks would have a gala time in one of the largest consumer electronic exhibitions ever. Oregon Scientific will be unveiling several products like their already launched ACT5K action camera, and many other new and updated products. The one that is eagerly awaited is the SimpleCast device which aims at providing weather related information all across the United States.

They shall also feature the SmartGlobe Elite which is their next version of the previously launched internet updateable desktop globe. If all these weren’t enough, the company will even feature the Desktop Emergency Radio Weather Station which comes with interesting features such as alerting, temperature information, LED display etc.

However, not much is known about the price details and availability. Perhaps the company is keeping it a secret until the CES 2009 happens. This time around, I expect a lot of interesting products to be featured at the CES 2009, Las Vegas, Nevada than before and it sure is going to be a rocking consumer event. So pack your bags and leave to the arid regions of Nevada and be accosted by the gleaming lights at CES 2009.
