Twan Verdonck, a Dutch designer, has come up with a rather bizarre but green idea. He has designed a growing light fixture called the Plamp. Believe it or not but a potted plant in a cafe in Tokyo actually keeps a daily online blog (http://plant.bowls-cafe.jp/index.php). Popularly known as Midori-san which means green (yep, the green being actually has a name), it entertains customers of the cafe writing about its feelings.
