This has become a tool that allows scientists to anticipate the lack of food in the world. Internet has created a brave new world where the world is connected and it is not even a wonder anymore. Google’s Vint Cerf is developing an Interplanetary Internet that aims to connect not just the world but also the entire solar system. Even when message travels at the speed of light, it takes about 7 minutes to reach mars when it’s closest to earth. The fact that planets, satellites and spacecrafts that are in orbit revolve around an axis and that makes it difficult for communication to happen.

He plans to put up DTN/bundle-protocol applications to put up in the space in order to make this sort of inter planetary internet communication to happen. Though it all looks very exciting, it might take time for the technology to really come into being. Vint Cerf has yet again proven that he is one of the coolest guys that make Google and Internet run.
