SeeNow is a very useful tool that lets you add or modify emotions and characteristics of the faces of the people, through their digital photos. With it, you can manipulate pictures of friends, family, co-workers, family members or even famous people who you want (imagine what you could do with Sarah Palin…) to change or tinker with their facial features, putting them in embarrassing or upsetting situations, or even turn them into “characters” of movies to make them more fun or beautiful, for example.

On the site you rely on a variety of brilliant effects, leaving the task to handle photos much more simple, fast and affordable, even for those who do not have the slightest notion of editing. SpongeBob Squarepants is a popular fella these days. Just a few days ago we heard of him being the inspiration behind a whole line of jewelry, and now our favorite toon is all set to join in the green group to save the environment.

Nickelodeon, Viacom Consumer Products and Humanity have come together to make a series of five environmentally themed tees featuring SpongeBob. The shirts will be made from 100% organic cotton and create awareness about saving water. Being eco-friendly does not mean that the collection is drab and boring for you can be inspired by the bright crystals decorating the tees.

So, you can have all sorts of marine life on the t-shirt with SpongeBob in the lead accompanied by an inscription, “Save the Big Blue”. Till this point the endeavour makes sense but the moment we hear the price, we are forced to wonder, “what are these fellas thinking?”. Well, what else do you say to a price tag of $98? We have a feeling SpongeBob’s soon turning into a money making machine, a fact we do not appreciate too much.

The guys at ThinkGeek have something cool again, as usual and in fact it is becoming rather monotonous to find awesome products on a daily basis. However, no one is complaining and certainly I am not. The latest find is the Real T-shirt Based ROCK which happens to be an electronic t-shirt that doesn’t just sport the pictures of rock drums, but can actually play them!

Now you might be shocked but the t-shirt features a playable drum kit on the front and all you would need to do is use your fingers to hit the drums and the built in speaker would rock the body, err, party. The t shirt can play 7 different sounds and comes in black colour.

The t-shirt requires 4 AAA batteries and can be washed in your washing machine. Imagine wearing clothes that make music! In fact, I am imagining clothes that will soon start to talk and counsel you, when you get bored or depressed. The Electronic Drum Kit Shirt can be bought for $29.99. I would say, this is a lot better than buying a dumb t-shirt with a dumber rock star printed on it.

We have heard of DIY music players and radios, but who would have known a smart Alec would design a piano that could be worn! The wearable piano was featured at the DIY Festival Zurich in Switzerland. Maybe you could build one too, for you never know when you would need to exhibit your piano playing skills and the piano itself (on your shirt, however).

The basic components of a piano such as the batteries, the speaker and the circuit board are placed on the T-shirt, which are then connected carefully with poppers. All these hard components can be detached easily and you can wash the T-shirt whenever you wish to. This wearable toy piano has 8 keys from Do to Do, which is a complete 1 octave. You can definitely try your hands on getting the basics in piano.

The idea is indeed super cool and would appeal to anyone who loves doing things out of the ordinary. Just don’t expect to play the ‘Carnival’ or ‘Precious Things’ by Tori Amos on your t-shirt, for which I would recommend building a grand piano yourself, or just buy one for yourself.

Lately, we have been hearing of a lot of tees dedicated to the cause of green. There is a new addition. Patagonia’s “Vote the Environment” T-shirt will have you wearing your politics on your chest. Made up of pure (please read 100 per cent) organic cotton within the US, the garment can be turned inside out if you want information on the League of Conservation Voters. This, by the by, is an organisation dedicated to promote green awareness and tackle environmental issues.

$5 from the cost price of $30 per tee is donated to the League. Available in both men’s and women’s styles, the shirt also bears the recyclable stamp from Patagonia’s Common Threads recycling program.

In the same spirit, Patagonia’s “Common Roots” T-shirt roots for a non-profit organisation called HeadCount which works to increase voter registration and participation in democracy. This too is pure organic cotton and is recyclable at any Patagonia store. Check out the themes which question authority, promote peace rallies and tell you to feed chickens or journal in a hammock!
