Geeks the world over have carved a niche for themselves by turning the most mundane of objects into something that could declare them the Geek King by other geeks. It seems that nothing would be left un-geekified.

The geek invasion reaches the kitchen this time when a seemingly innocuous kitchen appliance is turned into something special by geekifying it. Toasters have always been used to, well, toast bread but not anymore. This toaster has been turned into a game console by stuffing a Super NES system into a toaster shell. The Super Nintoaster can actually play your very favourite game once you insert the game by pressing the lever of the toaster down. The only thing missing in the Super Nintoaster is that you can no longer toast bread in it. That isn’t such a sad thing when you think about playing the best games on your toaster though, and in the kitchen you have food at arm’s distance. What could be better?

For those of you bored with your game consoles, you can always modify it with a toaster shell, but why use something someone else has already used. Perhaps, you can have an egg-timer console instead.

Toasters are supposed to make our breakfast and most often I end up finding out that they are better designed to jam and burn our bread into dark pieces of coal. They are not always that bad though, but with someone who gets pretty forgetful and always striving damn hard for that extra minute so that you are not late to work, burnt toast is pretty common. Not just that, but jammed toast can also lead to fire accidents in some cases and to solve all these problems, we have the new Fonte Toaster.

According to its designer Michael Gamstetter, the new Fonte Toaster has more space and better heating technology to give you a toast just like you want. Smooth ceramic heating elements and large slots solve the problem of jammed toast and a lower heating shelf warms cold, hard butter, making it easier to spread. This really makes for the best possible toast and that makes sure that at least your day starts well before you go to office and start experiencing hell!

With features like Bottom Butter/Toast Warmer Heats Butter from Above, illuminated Alert & Count-Down Timer and simple Push-Button Operation, this is really a cool new alternative. The Toaster has an anticipated price of $150 and that would not really be much for someone who really loves their toast.

Well in times of extreme technological developments, researchers, when facing a workless day, are sometimes left with no option but to improvise and re-improvise on pre-existing gadgets. At least, that seems to be the case with the Triplo Toaster.

As the name suggests, it is the same kitchen appliance that has been intrinsic to our domestic lives for so many years but with a slight twist. Now your mornings will be cheered by a high glossy finish of the Triplo Toaster which is made up of durable organic plastic. The process of toasting indeed gets redefined for the three separate modules allow roasting, toasting and baking simultaneously!
