Tulay Goren, 15 year old teenager is from Woodford Green, in the north of London. This Kurdish Turk went missing in 1999 after her affair with her boyfriend Halil Unal, 41. Her body was never found after her mysterious disappearance.

This question seems totally meaningless. Aung San Suu Kyi has spent most of her life between prison and house-arrest. The verdict at the end of this week will again be one of the two. Freedom and justice will again be denied to world’s most popular brave Burmese opposition leader and to the people of Burma.

Burma’s military leaders are extending trial of Burmese leader and Nobel Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi and trying to dispel all the criticisms and making it all appear as fair trial. They have even allowed outside observers to attend the trial. But yet it seems to be futile attempt since the trial itself is unfair and unjust.

The infamous journalist Muntazer-al-Zaidi who demonstrated his protest against US occupation of Iraq by throwing his pair of shoes at George Bush has been sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
