We have just discovered a cool and interesting product called the “BucKetVac”. This is a simple clip on attachment, which can turn any 20 liters (5 gallon) bucket into a vacuum cleaner. The best part of this bucket is that, it can handle both wet and dry mess, unlike the ordinary vacuum cleaners, which are useful only for dry mess. Better still is, you do not have to pick up the mess after your cleaning is done.

All you have to do is to simply put a lid on the bucket and it will take care of the entire process of cleaning. When cleaning is over, the BucKetVac comes off automatically and stows neatly away. Indeed, it’s a cool product. The vacuum, which serves as the lid weighs only about 7lbs.There, is no further information available regarding its price tag.

However, the BucKetVac will hit the market by the 4th quarter of this year. I hope it comes soon. I am sure cleaning up mess will not be a bad experience when you have BucKetVac to take care of it. I will depend on this always for cleaning up the waste in my room.

Toshiba is one the few key players that has successfully branched out, both in home appliances and high-end gadgedtry. This time its a feast for home-makers, as the tech-giant has unleashed Escargot VC-Z100L, the cyclone vacuum cleaner. It doesn’t look less than a might piece of weapon though. Toshiba has teamed with another industry leader, Electrolux to deliver this premium dust-buster. Owing to its looks, you might feel its one bulky appliance, but it actually weighs only 2.1 kg. It has a 50-watt suction power and can be carried on one’s shoulder.

The makers ship the cleaner with many attachments, thereby taking care of every nasty thing that accumulates dust, be it corners, air conditioners, walls or even cars. The noise generated by vacuum cleaners is always a concern, but it was been well taken care of here. Not that its mute, but 65dBA is the maximum noise it would make.  It ships for a price of 10500 yen i.e 113 USD with a 6 meter long power cord. For now, its only for Japanese markets. No word on how sooner its going to reach the global shelves all over.

AEG has launched what is being touted as the first green vacuum cleaner. The AirMax Oko Vacuum comes with 1.25 kW motor and is ultra silent. The vacuum is quite environmentally friendly and consumes 33% less energy than other similar sized vacuum cleaners. The AirMax is equipped with high-performance fans, unique dust bags and even great floor brushes which make it much efficient than normal power consuming devices.

If that weren’t all the cleaner itself is manufactured with 55% of recycled materials. I would say this would appeal to anyone who is green friendly and is conscious about the ill effects of using too many electrical gadgets. Imagine cleaning your house without wasting energy and doing it just as efficiently as your power consuming high-end vacuum cleaner would.

The AirMax Oko costs €210 and is priced steeply. However, most eco-friendly gadgets are expensive and the money is always well spent too. I would say, go ahead and get yourself this vacuum cleaner and stop receiving those fat electricity bills and stop being unkind to the environment, for that is what is going to save earth in the long run.

It is sometimes a bit stupid how movie makers and product designers merge to create something cool which only ends up being the same old product with new curves and a new sticker on top. That is pretty much what you can expect from the Limited Edition Wall-E themed Roomba Vacuum Cleaner. While we do not know too much about it yet, it seems safe to assume that this is just another vacuum cleaner with slightly cleaner curves and a Wall-E sticker of sorts on top.

The Wall-E Roomba Vacuum Cleaner seems to really say nothing new except the design and surely there is no technology of the future put into this. The movie did pretty well and it seems people are now just trying to make a bit of extra cash on it. Great for movie-maniacs, but not so much for everyone. Good thing this is limited edition stuff!
