Google has begun preliminary negotiations to purchase the video streaming site Hulu, says the LA Times. Sources told the publication that Hulu has met with Google, as well as Microsoft and Yahoo, in order to get one interested in business.

Facebook has surpassed the number of hits on Google, as reported by Experian Hitwise, a company specializing in measuring online traffic.
