The event that most of us have been waiting for has finally begun, and today TechCrunch50 begins with 50 new start ups competing with each other for the coveted place. TechCrunch50 is a unique event that allows new entrepreneurs to bring forth their ideas and plans for a new start up.
The event began in 2007, when it was called the TechCrunch40. Some of the big names that were earlier participants at the TechCrunch50 have now grown to be one of the most successful businesses in the world.
