localbacon TechCrunch50: Localbacon Charges Job Seekers for Quality Service

Online hiring can sometimes be really painful as many times a lot of job seekers send incomplete and irrelevant resumes, often making the employers’ work tougher. On the other hand, the job seekers too suffer as they do not receive any notifications from the employers’ side despite having done everything. Localbacon, a new startup for online hiring, which was launched today at the TechCrunch50 offers quality service to the job seekers.

Apparently every job advertised on the site is carefully chosen after doing a thorough analysis by the company. The listings are written in a standard format so that the job seekers understand easily. The search interface has a lot of checkboxes and the dials that let the job seekers focus more on the jobs they are interested in.

It will save a lot of time as the job seekers do not have to squander their precious time by simply applying a number of odd jobs randomly. However, the catch is job seekers must pay 99 cents for every job they apply. Well, it’s not too much to spend but the idea about charging the job seekers is a tad funny.
