toontunes1 TechCrunch50: Musical Social Networking Site for Tweens

ToonsTunes president Paul Bohan is an excited and enthusiastic person and is going to present his company at TechCrunch50. He knows what it is like to attract consumers, especially if they happen to be a little younger than the rest. While there are social networking sites for every age group and every demographic group, the ones for tweens or under 13 year olds have been quite dismal.

Taking this opportunity, ToonsTunes allows the user to connect with self and other tweens in a musical way. A certain space station in the virtual world will house the avatars of tweens where they can mix and match various instrumental sounds created by professional rock musicians and also add their own vocals to make it all sound pretty nice.

Tweens and other kids can play it like Rick band or Guitar Hero and eve use certain tangible instruments to make and mix and match music. This can be shared with others; or rather tweens can get together for jamming sessions too! Hip hop drums, pop guitar, funk keyboards and other sounds like cowbells are available for the budding musician in a tween. Wonder how long it will remain successful, if it does become successful!
