If you are familiar with the idea of buying tickets on eBay and such other websites, you would also be familiar with secondary markets for tickets. SeatGeek is a new start up that was unveiled at the TechCrunch50 conference.

While it is always cheaper to buy music, movie and concert or even tickets on sites like eBay one can never predict when the ticket is at its lowest price. There might be chances of you actually buying in hurry or missing out the ticket itself. SeatGeek has bots that crawl through loads of database and forecast when the tickets would be at their cheapest.

When you sign up, you start receiving alerts when the tickets are very cheap. You could just forget about everything and go buy them immediately. I would say, this is better than gambling for cheap tickets and realize that your friend got it for a lesser price. I would say, do not hesitate to use the service when it is available.
