SGN is an online gaming network and they had been working on connecting children’s toys to the Internet. Called ToyBots, the new start up was revealed at TechCrunch50 and it is being touted as the Kindle of toys. Any toy maker can make sure all their devices have a portal to the Internet and one of the first product is named Woozee.

The cute toy can send messages through the Internet and children can record themselves and be heard. Quite a functional toy, we must say. However, children these days grow up so soon that you actually do not need toys to be connected to the Internet.

Perhaps some people may like this idea but the idea of connecting with Internet is somehow not such a cool thing to do. Unless, the toy can do much more than just send messages and receive them. If the toys could actually provide information, allow browsing and even contact other websites, it would have been a great thing.
