Ever been to a Sushi restaurant? It’s one of the most delightful experiences that you’ll come across while dining out. The chefs prepare the Sushi right in front of you and a slab that is designed to work as a cooking platform and then serve this delicacies to the customers, seating in a neat row.
Now, in Thailand a restaurant owner begun a new tradition of serving food to the customers, by removing the human element from the process and replacing it with robots. Yes!, Lapassarad Thanaphan, the owner of the Hajime restaurant in Thailand has employed the services of robots to serve the customers. The robots have been programmed to deliver food and then clear the tables, all the while the guests can order the their cuisines via a touch screen. If this doesn’t entice you much, then there is more. These robots while serving the customers are also capable of dancing to music and are dressed in the way of a Samurai warrior.
Ms. Thanaphan, has spent more than $900,000 on these highly efficient and entertaining robots that are made in Japan. So next time you plan a little vacation to Thailand, make sure you do meet these mechanic warriors, who will not serve you food but will also entertain you.
